General Cleaning
Wipe the surface with a damp cloth and mild detergent. To degrease, use a non- abrasive cleaner such as Spray and Wipe, and then wipe with a clean cloth. Wipe spilt food and liquids immediately to avoid staining.
Stains caused by food colouring, fruit drinks, caffeine and soft drinks, wine, fruit, paints or permanent markers should be wiped immediately with a multi-purpose cleaner, then rinsed with water.
Food, chewing gum, nail polish or paints can be removed by scraping off with a sharp blade. Any leftovers can be easily removed with a scratch-free scouring pad before washing and rinsing with water.
Do not use non PH neutral chemicals such as bleach, caustic soda, Drain, oven cleaners, paint strippers or petroleum products.
General Care
Always place a trivet or board under pots, electric frying pans, crock pots and cooktop ovens as sudden temperature changes can permanently damage your stone benchtop.
Even though your benchtop is highly impact resistant, Knocks from pots or pans and bottles can chip the edges. Should this happen contact, your kitchen manufacturer or benchtop fabricator for advice. It is also not recommended to stand, walk or sit on your stone top as cracking may occur.
